Cold rolled steel is a metal material mainly made from hot-rolled steel plates or steel coils through cold processing.

The thickness of cold-rolled steel is usually between 0.3mm and 3.5mm, with high surface quality, good ductility and toughness, as well as high strength and wear resistance. The production process of cold rolled steel is carried out at room temperature, avoiding surface defects that may occur during hot working of hot-rolled steel. Cold rolled steel is widely used in industries such as automobiles, machinery, electronics, and electrical appliances, and is used to make shells, parts, structural components, etc. Common cold-rolled steel grades include SPCC, SPCD, SPCE, etc. These grades represent different cold-rolled carbon and alloy steels.
